About Us

Dedicated to Cleaner, Healthier Homes in San Francisco

About us

Golden Cleaning Services was founded by Karina and Elvin—two professionals with over six years of experience in the hospitality industry in Honduras before moving to California in 2016. After several years working hands-on as house cleaners and housekeepers, they launched Golden Cleaning Services in 2021 with a clear mission: to offer reliable, detailed, and eco-conscious residential cleaning tailored to the needs of busy families and professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Their research into the health impacts of harsh chemical cleaners inspired a safer, smarter cleaning philosophy—centered around family well-being and healthier indoor spaces. Today, Golden Cleaning Services is proud to be a trusted local business, known for delivering consistent results, building long-term client relationships, and now offering advanced steam cleaning services for even deeper sanitization.

Growing through word-of-mouth and trust.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Elvin and Karina have been cleaning our home every two weeks for the past six months, and we just want to help spread the word about their fantastic work. They are consistently very thorough, attentive to small details, and we really appreciate having the same two people in our home each time.

They’re also just really kind and easy to work with—kind, polite, responsible, and always quick to respond. Whenever we’ve needed to change the schedule or ask for something specific around the house, they’ve been flexible and accommodating.

We recommend them enthusiastically!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Elvin and Karina have cleaned my condo on and off, but consistently, for the past three to four years, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Over that time, they’ve earned my complete trust, not just as cleaners but as people I genuinely look forward to having in my home.
Their work is thorough and detail-oriented in a way that’s rare. They handle the deep-cleaning jobs that most people dread, like ovens, baseboards, behind appliances, the spots you’d usually have to nag someone about, and they do it without being asked. Even with breaks between bookings, the quality has never slipped. If anything, they keep finding new things to make better.
What really sets them apart is how personal their service feels. They remember my preferences down to the smallest details, like which products I like, how I arrange certain things, the little quirks of my space. They’re also incredibly flexible with scheduling, which has been a lifesaver more times than I can count. And they consistently go above and beyond in small, thoughtful ways I never expected.
On top of all that, they’re genuinely warm, trustworthy people. Letting someone into your home regularly takes trust, and Elvin and Karina have earned mine many times over. They feel less like a service I hired and more like part of my extended community.
If you’re looking for cleaners who are skilled, dependable, and genuinely lovely to work with, you’ll be in good hands with them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Golden Cleaning services has been providing cleaning services for our home for a couple years now, Elvin and Karina have been consistently reliable, thorough, and professional. Every visit leaves our home spotless, fresh, and confortable — it’s clear that Elvin and team take real pride in their work.

One of the things we value most is how safe their cleaning products are for our children and pets.
With little ones and animals in the house, we have to be careful about what’s used on our floors and furniture. Working with Elvin is complete peace of mind.

Before findind them, we struggled with another service that didn’t pay much attention to detail and used cleaning products with strongs, lingering smells. Our children are sensitive to harsh chemicals so we knew we needed to find a cleaning company that trully cared about both quality and safety — and we’re so glad we did!
Their consistency and professionalism give us total peace of mind, and it’s such a relief to come home to a space that feels both clean and healthy.

We trust Elvin and Karina like family — they’re kind, incredibly dependable, excellent communicators, and respectful of our home.
We couldn’t recommend Elvin And Karina more highly!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Elvin and his wife have been great to work with! They are both very professional, thorough, and kind. It was stressful trying to find the right person to work with, but I'm so glad we found Elvin as he has been amazing! They started with a deep clean and then do a maintenance cleaning fro us monthly which works perfectly for our schedule.

Verified Elvin & crew have been our home cleaner for a few years now. We are a family of five with pets so it's a big job! We have been consistently impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. In particular, they have been very adaptable as our needs have changed, and whenever they come they always do what needs to be done. Sometimes that's a backlog of laundry, sometimes it's a bunch of toys that need to be cleaned up. They're also lovely with my cats and always stop to give them a pet. Honestly I couldn't ask for better cleaners and would recommend them to anyone.

Verified Golden Cleaning has been cleaning my house for a few years now, and they do a great job. They are consistent and having a small personal team is great because they really get to know your home and make a point to listen and remember any request I make. Before I found them I hired some bigger more well known services, but there was frequent turnover, staff that didn't care much, and lack of an individualized experience. Elvin & team ask questions if they are uncertain where something goes or what I want done and they really care about their work and making my home comfortable and clean. My dogs also love seeing them, which is a huge plus!

Verified Elvin has been cleaning our home for almost three years. Our family is to grateful for the work he does keeping our household spotless. He's extremely detailed and efficient, taking great pride and care in his work. He's goes above and beyond at each visit, and is always willing to help with household tasks. The latter was especially helpful as I had many physical restrictions during three rounds of IVF and my subsequent complicated pregnancy without family around to help. Elvin always went the extra mile.

The pricing is exceptional for the service he provides. He checks in regularly and is an excellent communicator. He's extremely careful about and just a pleasant person to have in our home. I trust him like family.

I can't recommend him enough and am always happy to provide a reference.

Verified We needed house cleaners for apartment in San Mateo as my son was moving out and I found ELVIN House Cleaning.
The place was immaculate when we got there. The rug was shampooed, the tub looked brand new and glass sliding door in bathroom so clean. All windows were sparkling, refrige and oven looked brand new and counters we so clean even grout was bright white. They cleaned the verticle blinds in the kitchen. I can't say enough about ELVIN and his wife. I would give them 10 stars. Thanks again for a great job!

Verified I am so glad that Elvin finally has a Yelp page. If only he had this page filled with feedback from all his happy clients when I was searching for a new cleaner last year. I had been using the same cleaner for over 20 years when suddenly she was no longer able to work regularly anymore. I had been out of the loop so long and the research/interview process was so exhausting. After many empty promises and some broken dishes we tried Elvin. Search Over! They cleaned our house better than any cleaner we've used, practically "move in condition" level.
He is excellent at responding in a timely manner, extremely kind, honest and respectful. I've shared his info on my fb neighborhood page as well as taken reference calls from perspective clients. I am more than happy to help guide anyone who is looking for cleaning services to Elvin and his wife because I am 100% confident they will be as pleased as I am.
